We used to have a county road called Possum Trot Rd. But some lib changed it to Pettit Rd. A few years ago.
I used to go to Toad Suck to a seafood buffet when I was in college nearby.

There is a farm town just west of here named Buttonwillow. Had a job there and and instead of using a numbered PO at the supply house my foreman just used the town name because it was the only job in that vicinity. Got the billing in the mail and it the kid at the counter had labeled the job “Butt and Willow” he had grown up thinking that was the town name and never seen it spelled.
