If it's pathological is a dissociative personality inevitable? Definitely pathological. Hard to diagnose w/out clinical intervention, but if I were the attending psych doc assigned to the case I'd be arguing toward suicide via subliminal suggestion. Where's that damned pocketwatch of mine? 'You're getting very sleepy, and, well, now would be an opportune time to run a nice, hot bath and give the old straight edge a wee workout..."

I somehow missed this whole thread until now. If someone truly has health issues (or other problems in his life), I pray for help for him, but I cannot condone the sort of thing that Leighton (who is a good guy all the way) brings up.

I always thought it odd that hunting gear would be the first thing you asked for to help someone who had just lost everything in a house fire, seems there would be way more important stuff needed.
