You don't hear people talking about "Cahill, US Marshall" very much either, but it is one of my favorite JW films.
Never heard of it, but I'm renting it tonight.

I have two favorites that I like about equally:
Fort Apache
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
I don't know that I ever watched Fort Apache, so it's now on my list to watch. I've seen The Man Who Shot LV several times, and like it a lot.

Why wasn’t there a John Wayne / Clint Eastwood movie?
That’d been good. John Wayne was approached about making a Western with Clint Eastwood, but turned it down, stating that he didn't like the sort of Westerns Eastwood appeared in.
