IMHO Tikka offers the best value for an accurate rifle righto out of the box. Clearly they know what they are doing. I just don't get the lack of finish on a walnut gun that's clearly not intended to be weatherproof. How hard would *metal* bottom metal be on just the walnut/blued that they're billing as traditional?? (And you kids get off my lawn!!! 😇😂) I thought the same thing, but then I found High Desert Rifle Works. They make a bottom metal that is a dupe of the factory...except metal.

6.5 PRC in a factory T3. Finally I have considered rebarreling an old Tikka 695 338 win mag, I don't know how many times, but I figured "just be patient". Finally! Their rimfires look good too.
THE CHAIR IS AGAINST THE WALL. The Tikka T3 in .308 Winchester is the Glock 19 of the rifle world. The website is up and running!www.lostriverammocompany.com

Wouldn’t the 6.5 PRC be a better mousetrap than the 264?

Wouldn’t the 6.5 PRC be a better mousetrap than the 264? 264 is still bigger and faster. My understanding is the PRC is just a bit more than the 6.5-284. My buddy has both the 6.5-284 and PRC and gets the same velocity though.. And before I get called an imaginary pixel hoarding couch chunt, I have a 264 on a tikka and it fits and works great.

No more T1x, now we get the T1x MTR with modular stock, improved grip, and metallic bolt shroud. Exactly what we’ve been missing.
Evidently the Finns can’t spell, either.
