What was the price before the madness? $30-35 in my area. But do we expect them to not raise prices and profit margins when they see people paying 65-120 a box? Good ole capitalism at its best...

Now $181 shipped for 3 boxes to Virginia. That’s a great price! I got $1225 for a case a couple months ago on gunbroker. With prices rising at suppliers, they will on there too. I sold the CM and didn’t need the ammo so I put it on GB, started it at a penny and was dumbfounded, everyday watching the bids, increase....

I have my Creed for sale with 13 boxes. I just picked up 3 more incase it doesn't sell.

That is crazy. It’s went up $20 from before this madness started. I bought a bunch for a whole lot less over the last few years. I wouldn’t spend that on any hunting Ammo.

I’ve gotten a few boxes twice in the last month from Cabelas for $39.99 a box. I bought some last year in November from a LGS in Missoula while visiting family and it was $31.99 a box.
Edit: I’ve see. It at sportsman’s for $41.99 recently too. Every time I’ve seen it in the store there was probably 60-70 boxes on the shelf and moving fast.

I was in auto pilot to buy till I saw the cost. No thanks If that’s what Midway is charging, I’m guessing we are going to start paying that for ammo or not shoot. I’ll usually buy a case or so when I pick up a new gun to blow through while working up a load but generally reload for everything I shoot. I have enough supplies to last a decade or three. So really don’t care what prices go up too.

Maybe I’ve been looking in the wrong places ... but $52.99 for a box of high quality hunting 6.5CM ammo is not a bad price IN THIS MARKET. 6.5 in particular is extremely scarce and the very few times I have seen this cal. in quality pills out there (Barnes, Precision, Nosler, Federal trophy bonded, etc) ... it’s been well North of $60-65.

Fwiw they also have some very formidable .308 Win ammo in-stock this AM also ... Barnes TTSX 150 gr., which is as good as it gets for over-the-counter ammo.

I'll keep loading my own. The old 140 Amaxes will kill just as good.
