I had something with delivery "guaranteed" by 2/22 and the last thing on the tracking is West Sacramento, CA.

It took a week an a half or so for me to get a letter mailed to me from Tennessee and I don't live that far away (in Ohio).

COVID is being used as an excuse for everything.

Thankfully it arrived yesterday. No tracking updates, no nothing, it just showed up.

I spoke with the local folks; who are good people and they told me once it left their facility, it was never scanned at the next. They stated the hub in Charleston was approximately one month behind and it was probably sitting in their warehouse with thousands of other packages. Of course, I got the severe weather/COVID song and dance, so I subtly mentioned I had a friend in the ATF office where their shipping hub is located and thought he might be able to help or at least be aware that I had a firearm come up missing. I seriously doubt this had anything to do with the rifle being delivered, but it got there.

Next time, I'm taking Slumlord's advice. I'll get results!

You can have the USPS check on a tracked item that is languishing somewhere. I did that last year on a package that was stuck at a distribution center somewhere in TX for weeks. I filed a complaint, it was investigated, I was kept informed, it was found and I got it shortly afterwards.
