I do have a leupold 6x42 standard duplex matte finish. Was mounted in lapped rings,can't tellnit was ever mounted though.

Yeh I started worrying myself with the parallax and it seems like the 4x is set at 40 yards. I found a deal on a new 4x for 250 and 60 for Talley rings if I could make that work with shipping.

I have two Leupolds, both 2-7. One a rimfire special and the other a compact. Put them side-by-side and you can't tell them apart. Both are the older Vari X models with gloss finish. If I had the boxes they could almost pass for NIB. Thin duplex reticles. I'm not really looking to get rid of either one but willing to listen if you have any interest.
