New Zealand has got a good system in place that is working and they are almost rid of this menace. The hotel quarantine system now in Canada is no where going to be as effective. Why you may ask, the answer is easy even a 8 year old child can understand. New Zealand is a small island that doesn't have land borders. At present 25% of the people are entering by aircraft, the other 75% are coming in through land borders, spiked up now due to the hotel jails awaiting weary travelers. Now all travellers going to Canada land in USA qnd drive across to avoid the hotel jails. All travellers entering New Zealand were put in hotels free for 2 weeks.
The feeble attempt to duplicate the sucess in New Zealand, is another desperare attempt by the Liberal government to get a handle on a this pandomic. They should have listened to military advise to close the borders back in December of 2020.
