Greetings, I have a new M2 20 ga and need a turkey choke. I have a Hastings .665 on my 12 ga BPS. I like the pattern of the Hastings, any thoughts or recommendations for the M2 ? Regards, Vic

I’m a huge fan of the Primos Jelly Head. I have it in my Benelli and 870.
Camp is where you make it.

Sumtoy has done well for me in my M2 20
We shoot the federal TSS. Patterns aren’t crazy tight but it’s a very forgiving killing pattern at 40 yards

I have a M2 20 gauge with 24 in barrel, Sumtoy .562 is what I’d recommend.

Sumtoy, Indian Creek, Kick's Gobblin Thunder are all great chokes.
Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.

I have three Kick's chokes. They are beautifully made and throw great patterns. The Kick's company has been great to deal with over the years. The Gobblin' Thunder isn't quite as center dense in a 10" circle as Indian Creek but gives a bit more forgiving 20" evenly distributed pattern.

Interesting, good feedback and thanks to all. Looking more closely at the 20 ga choke constriction(s), I see offerings at .560, .562, .570, etc. Are there "sweet spots" in these tighter chokes ?

I've decided on a Carlson .555 or .565 non ported turkey choke. The Kicks choke almost got the nod, but I'm not a fan of ported gun barrels. Thanks all...

I haven't noticed the Kick's being louder. What the ports really do is that they strip/retard the wad from the shot column. That's a good thing unless shooting a shell with the Flite Control type wad designed to stay with the shot. Not trying to sway your decision, just offering some information to the discussion.

Interesting, I equate ported guns to noticeable additional noise. I'll give this some thought.

I shoot tss loads with the Carlson tss choke tube and hadn't missed taking a turkey yet. On the other end of the spectrum it's cylinder bore tube for rabbits!
