I assume these are the result of Winchester getting the Lake City contract? Anyone tried them yet? Same thing as CCI 41?

You got a package from Larry today too huh?
I haven’t tried any yet but I like the CCI 41s. I’m sure they’ll be fine for my AR ammo for hog and varmint shooting.

I never even heard of them until Midway had them. It seems odd to me that these suddenly show up in the supply chain, when Winchester's regular lines are nowhere to be found. You would think they would be churning out more of their regular primers than these.

Try them, let us know how they work out. With the problems Winchester has had with their other primers, I'm a bit leery about using a primer made by them..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I asked Black Hills a few years back about their MK262 ammo. I had some in Winchester cases and the guy said Winchester had their own mil spec primers and they bought new primed brass from them.

You would think they would be churning out more of their regular primers than these. Likely a bit of an over run. I"d be thankful for any primers showing up these days. ( if you were one that didn't have 50K or so primers on your shelves like you should have) In the past an over run may have been absorbed. Shows they are trying.
