Any recs on an aftermarket trigger for the Zastava/Daly/Interarms 98 clones? (Single not double set.)

I thought mine was an OK. I don't think I'm following... are you saying your factory trigger was pretty good or that you have one with an aftermarket trigger made by "OK"? The factory trigger isn't terrible. I don't mind it being a little heavy. But it's got more creep than I'd like for a hunting rifle.

(I have Sako #4, a Bold and a factory Zastava. I find the Zastava OK. If you want creep, try a Huber on a 1600. There are barn doors that don't swing as far.

I've used Bold and Timneys without issue, though doubt that you would see a significant improvement over the Zastava housed trigger assembly unless someone has "improved" it. For an alternative, I'm intrigued by the Dressel M70 style trigger, though haven't heard much feedback from others about them.

Alaska Arms makes an excellent Mod 70 type trigger for the 98s. I don't know if it works on the Zestava.

I have replaced the factory Mark X trigger on a couple of my rifles with the Recknagel R-416 steel body with good results. The finger piece has had to be modified to fit my aftermarket bottom metal. Either re-contour or weld on a DWM fingerpiece. I source Recknagel from NECG. They also carry an aluminum body Recknagel but I have no experience with that.
