This evening it's a 22 year old Macallan from a cask selection by Royal Mile Whiskies, Edinburgh, Scotland. It goes quite well with a 1998 vintage Partagas Limited Edition Royale.

I’m a fan of Wild Turkey Rye lately. Good stuff when poured neat. And I almost hate to say, but my daily now is Early Times Bonded Bourbon. $22 for a liter bottle. Cut with water to tame from 100 proof to about 85 proof and it goes far for the price. Yesterday I had Knob Creek Cask Strength Rye and Rittenhouse Rye. I haven't decided for today. Maybe a 1792 Full Proof store pick or a Woodinville Port Finished Bourbon. I went with the regular Woodinville Bourbon. Not bad for a 90 proofer.

I'm with you on the WT Rye. If you haven't already, try the Rare Breed Rye. WT Rye amped up some. I wish I could find the Early Times BIB anywhere near me but I haven't found it on the shelves yet. I almost had to beg my local liquor store to carry the Old Forester bourbons. They did, and it's been selling well for them. Next I'm going to try Woodinville Rye. I hear it's very good too.

I always have EH Taylor, Eagle Rare or Woodford Double Oak for my lounging days
Buffalo Trace or Even Williams BIB for normal days I really like the Woodford Double Oak, but cabinet is empty and local stores are out.

Sitting beside a nice warm grill loaded with 15 lb of loin, potatoes and a nice tin foil veggie pack will get a man past a lot of cold weather ; ] Mathmans got it going on with that combo.
