What's the first thing he can hunt for and when?
He’s been hunting for bunnies and grouse already, but this fall I’ll take him caribou hunting. He can’t wait to go!

That's awesome. I've been teaching in the class for several years now and they would not let us hold it last year.....breaks my heart. Watching the focus of the kids....and several moms and dads is refreshing.
I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.
