God helps those that help themselves.Online sniveling solves nothing. If you do`nt like how things are panning out then do something. Actually, God helps those who can’t help themselves. Not sure where that quote came from but it’s as inaccurate as possible. Quote, Ben Franklin ,not the Bible.

Good that some more of us are seeing the light, that this is not just another democrat administration that we can weather. Nut cutting time is coming, and I hope there are enough of us to bring this communist insurgency to a halt. We won’t do it by dying alone. and the best defense is a good offense. When its time to fight, take it to them, don’t wait for them to come to you. Let them live with the unintended consequences of their actions. Where will you start and whom will you neutralize? Never show your hand. Your old enough to know that, and shouldn't ask! Foolish question looking for argumentative answers! Sheesh

Even during Trump’s Presidency, I’ve had the feeling and fear that me and my generation, are living on borrowed time. Hell, I know that I’m a dinosaur, that doesn’t bother me at all. But watching my way of life die out is a pretty tough row to hoe. Worse than the couple weeks seeing Dad in the hospice, knowing he was soon going on without me. I guess now I know how the Sioux and Cheyenne warriors must have felt 150 years ago. Knowing that the Buffalo were being killed off, and that the center of our religious world and the very heart of our existence, is being ripped from us. My kids, and their kids, if they’re allowed to survive, will be forced to adapt to a reservation. They’ll never know and understand our world, the freedom we enjoyed and the love we knew of hunting and shooting for the sheer joy of it. The thread about ammo and components sorta drives home the point. (See my post there) I honestly believe this “shortage” is a planned and orchestrated event. I understand the hoarding argument, but for crying out loud, even a fellow who just fell off the turnip truck can see this is 10 times worse than anything we had in the pst. We conservatives, especially the hunters and shooters who believe in Christ, and even more especially if you’re a military veteran, are now considered potential terrorist and insurrection risk! There are way too many black swan events happening one after the other to deny that somebody is doing some serious manipulation. I really don’t give a chit. I know that growing up in a free America makes me too much of a threat to the “People’s Republic of Amerika” to be allowed to continue. I’d much rather go down defending myself, my family and my rights than be gassed or machine gunned into a ditch anyway. I’m also a little bit ashamed of my Dad’s and other family members military legacy. Me, and 75 million other people stood by and watched as our country and our freedom, our children’s birthright, is stolen. Yes, I know that to try and fight back now, it means sacrificing the life Penny and I have been working for. But I also figure it’s only a matter of time until it’s lost regardless of what we do. Anyway, the soapbox is open now. I gotta get up early tomorrow because “time to make the donuts 🍩” comes early! (the older I get the earlier it comes ) 7mm Sheesh man, go get a therapist or something, quit trying to shift the blame for your regrets and self failings that getting older seems to bring into focus. The comparison to Sioux and Cheyenne warriors, fighting off something real, does not compare to in the least bit you feeling sorry for yourself pecking away on an iPad on your lazy boy waiting for meals on wheels to drop off lunch. Yes, the ammo thing sucks, that is what happens when five million new gun owners show up in a year. Extemely Disrespectful .............. Grow up !!

I think we all feel a little dispair when we see the country on a greased pole to hell. That's quite a post 7mmbuster. Now is the time that we are no longer in our prime. We no longer trust in the strength of our arm, nor in the armed forces. We do not trust in politicians. That leaves the One we should encourage each other in and Trust like never before.
"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes."
Psalm 118:8-9
"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." This. Enjoy every sunrise and every sunset. This is all in the hands of the Lord. Life is precious. Enjoy it while you can and dont worry. Let HIM take care of the morrow. It truly is out of our hands and truth be known, HE doesnt intervene until there is no other hope and our backs are to the vicious Red Sea. HE has a Covenant with America and He has chosen and provided our Moses and our David for which in prophecy He says He will open and clear a way. HE, in fact has so far. He has never pulled the rug from under one HE has chosen to lead Israel, His believers, to safety. In HIS way, HIS mercy and power will be shown to the world for HIS own magnificent glory. The porphecies of the Ages are coming to pass in this most magnificent time of the Earth's histroy. Can you not feel the change in the air? The Lords chosen are meeting the minions of Satan on the battlefield and the tares will be gathered and burned and HIS glory and HIS shall be given His utmost desire for them, freedom again! Its going to be BIBLICAL. Hey, get you some popcorn and enjoy the movie. I just saw this and have to say that after reading, we should all sleep well tonight. How very true.

Not a foolish question, a leading question, which Old Toot is well known for. He knows what he is asking. I do know exactly what I’m asking. And you’re well known for running your mouth until questioned and then you fold, waiting on someone to defend your “secrets”. Modus operandi for you to talk scchitt with nothing behind it but hot air and that’s all that you are.

@OP, Well said. Agree. I think it is very possible that the Leftist in DC have the feeling now they can do or say anything they want. This could very well backfire on them in the long run. It will take a disaster, or near disaster to expose them even more and get more people off their asses.. We had our first "Y'all come. Everything in-person." Sunday at church yesterday. All activities, in-person, in the church building, since March of last year. My wife teaches the older women's Sunday School class. They apparently had a discussion regarding the "how long will the vaccination protect you?" Given they are in the most vulnerable age cohort, a very important topic for them. After church, while eating lunch, my wife asked "So if the vaccination will only give 90 days of immunity, what's the purpose?" ... Bingo ! My wife is a mental health professional. I reminded her that fear is an excellent motivator and control agent. The lights are starting to come on for her. Hearing from other people, my wife is now starting to realize that Covid is being politicized by the ruling class as a control point over the rest of the population. As we move forward, I beleive that more and more people will begin to see the charade being played on us. Unfortunately, I am not sure that it will be enough people, soon enough, to change the outcome... I wish you weren't right.

I strongly suggest you remove your empty skull from your rectal orifice and see some light. Better yet go find a few history books the communists haven't changed and educate yourself. I speak from the perspective of being around here prior to WW2 and witnessing the destruction of my country via the current education system. Work on the history of the Russian Revolution, that follow up on how Hitler took over Nazi Germany. He (Adolph Hitler) once said, "What good fortune for government that the people do not think." This all started early in the cold war. Communist backed hippie movement spawned college professors who have "educated" the youth for a few decades now. Long enough that the "indoctrinated" are now middle to senior members of government. The communists are playing the long game and winning. I used to think there might be a civil war. Now I fear we will simply fade like England. We are like frogs being slowly, unwittingly boiled.

It's amazing how the way of life for many who are complaining about it actually raised the children who are now adults making these decisions........should say just as much about your parenting as their decision making. Also, so many complain about our current society and you must ask them, 'what have you done today to help improve society?'.........usually kills the conversation. Flame on..........

Just talking with a good bud who pointed out that in the Garden of Eden, there was shame after the fall. Adam and Eve tried to cover their nakedness.
Today, as in Sodom and Gomorrah, there seems to be NO shame.
So, how far are we from the end?
How much of this is a wake up call for good people to arise and take a stand?
How long will we let evil rule?
I don't know the answers, but can for sure ask the questions.

Most of us work to improve society. We pay taxes and contribute to those less fortunate. Some of us do this directly and others do this through tithing with our preferred religious charity. Some of us actually fight the good fight everyday. It is getting harder and harder to be a high school teacher who entertains notions that the US is blessed by god, established upon the foundation of liberty and individualism and prideful of being part of a great experiment involving all sorts of peoples. Marcel Marcuse wrote that Socialism would become the du jour choice when belief in god waned and sexual morality had been thrown out the window. I think that he was right. We are seeing it. I see a bigger problem in our nation when hard work and effort are shamed. People with grit and guts are put down over those that stand upon pedestals and preen themselves. This is the political class and the economic elites. I have some classmates that note that they haven't left their houses in a year and they made more money than ever.

You know, with my love of American History, I’ve often regretted my decision after High School to join the service. I fell in love and wanted to start a family, and at the time, the military looked better for that than going to college, so to the Army I went. It’s getting less and less that I second guess myself. Serving in the military opened my eyes a lot.. it went a long way to making me a better man and settling my values. I’ve met many people who have a college education who really don’t know their azz from a hole in the ground, and either can’t, or refuse to see where this country is headed. Besides, I know damn well that the history of this country as I know it, would never be allowed to be taught now! 7mm
