I have been an inground pool owner for 20 years (18X36). (Chlorine, Ionizer) Salt system for the last 2 years. In April I will be staying in a vacation rental in Blowing Rock NC with a large back porch/great view...6-8 person jacuzzi. Anyone with Jacuzzi experience (sanitation/chemicals) got some advice on what I should take with me to "treat" the water? Just shock it?

I would buy bottle of white vinegar and wipe the edge/water line of hot tub. They always have a grease/slim build up.

Well, that's a nice way of putting it!

I'm sure it had nothing to do with the dozen people having a jacuzzi orgy the weekend before.... grin

Don't lick the bubbles that come to the surface when you turn it on. wink

Bromine tabs in a floater. Take the floater out when you're in the tub. There's also a sponge-like floater for the surface slime. All are available online.
