Up for sale is a Cooper Model 52 in 30-06 that I purchased from the original owner about 10 years ago. After one range session, I put the rifle away in the safe and it's been in there since. Other than some minor handling marks, the rifle is in excellent condition.

There is one obvious detractor on the left side of the stock (visible in pic). After shooting it, I got a little carried away with Wipe Out during cleaning and some of the that stuff stayed in the action. With the rifle placed upright in the safe, the Wipe Out rolled down the stock leaving a streak/mark. I'm sure there's an easy solution but I haven't bothered with it. $1775 shipped/insured

If it wasn’t for the stain I’d been saying the magic words. It won’t last long....

TexasBBQ, I don't have a scale so not sure about the weight. As for shooting, from what I remember groups were decent for my shooting abilities. I didn't keep a record so can't give specific group sizes.

Thanks Dave

Looked at a couple options, and it was going to run $250-350 to have Cooper or others repair it, so I went to work with some fine steel wool and bought an $8 bottle of Tru-oil.

If you know it's been worked on you can probably see a slight difference from the other side, but otherwise I doubt anyone would ever notice.

I called Cooper on it but then came to my senses. Glad you bought it. Beautiful rifle!

You do realize that is a $3500.00 rifle.

I think they are around $3000 now. but you don't get wood like this anymore without a $400 upgrade.
