Business is about numbers.
Be curious to see what the wait time is in one of those double wrapped drive thru lines.
I wager to say less than 10-15 mins.

I won't wait in any drive thru line with more than three cars ahead of me.... and three is pushing it. And if I hear the dude in front of me lean out the window and go "I've got four different orders...." I'm out.

They’re quick for sure, especially if you have enough sense to do a mobile order.

Went through one last week with the family. Ours is 4 lanes wide. We were in the 5 row deep, so car 18. Family of 4 order. We were pulling back on the street in under 5 minutes. Not estimated, specifically looked at clock when we rolled in and out.

If you have 6 seperate orders and 5 coupons, park the car and walk your ass inside. Likewise with Grandma Betty, who spends ten minutes at the order screen pondering whether to get regular fries or curly fries. The answer is ALWAYS curly fries Betty, and if you can't figure that out, stay out of the drive-thru line.

If I can't get out of the line, I won't get into the line. I am exceptionally impatient. Doesn't matter if I'm in a hurry or not, I do NOT wait in line. It is not uncommon for me to pull into the lot, see the line of cars waiting in the drive thru, and just circle around and right back out onto the highway. Find somewhere else, or just head on where I was going.

Vending lady was late getting around to our machines at work this week. We have a soda machine that is glass fronted, kind like a candy machine.
It was out of Pepsi products, the Coke stuff was almost full. We are too white to be drinking that Coke!

I like Chik-Fil-A but the constant lines at all hours are offputting unless I catch a break.
That said, try the chicken tortilla soup. It's really good but not cheap.
Popeyes chicken sandwich is real good as well.

BTW the local government hired a Chik-Fil-A manager to set up the ChiComm virus drive thru. There's no substitute for expertise and they have it.

Some funny schit.....folks that refuse to wait 20 minutes for a table will leave and drive 30 minutes to wait for 10. It's been said "I don't wait in lines". If you are driving, you are moving. I'll go somewhere else not to be in a line. I don't need someone's chicken bad enough to wait in a line. I prefer moving even if it's in the wrong direction. I've eaten at a Chic filet one time. I wasn't impressed. kwg

We have had one here for a few years and it always seems busy. The few times that I have been there I have noticed some very good things. The staff is mostly you folks and everyone is pleasant and says "sir" and "ma'am". No visible tattoos or piercings, uniforms are clean and neat. A very marked contrast to most other fast food franchises in the area.

Chick fill it doesn't excite me. It's good, I like their stances. (Mostly)
But it's not as good as the hype would suggest.
There aren't any here. And when we bet to a place that has one, there are going to be other choices we don't normally have. Most more interesting than an expensive, franchised chicken sandwhich, that you have to wait in line for.
Add Outback, Olive Garden and others of that ilk to the list. Just because of the wait. Huge companies, resources. Tons of market research, demographics, they know what they are doing when they build. And size the store.
You waiting is built into their plan.
We stop at the door of those places and one walks in to check wait time. I like to do it. "No thanks, I'll be eating before then". Have left there more often than stayed.
I tell people that stuff, they look at me funny. Wouldn't believe how many times they later tell me they have started doing the same.
