Probably some of the best complimentary guitar work by two guitarists in the song Prodigal Son. Winter plays a gunslinger deep guitar lead in the first solo and Derringer plays a blistering cry baby pedal guitar in the second solo. Prodigal Son Lastly Johnny Winter from Second Winter, Album was made around 1968. Song was titled I love Everybody. Blistering slide guitar work by Johnny. I Love Everybody

These by Robert Quine, Richard Lloyd, and Tom Verlaine are excellent examples of the former: As an example of the latter, Bob Rupe nails his little solo in the middle of this Silos tune: And I always loved the fuzzed-out outro to this old Thin White Rope ode to friendship - a great juxtaposition to it mainly acoustic melody: Kaiser Norton Last edited by Kaiser Norton; 03/13/21.
