Just started eating a batch I made a month ago.
I used bread and butter pickle juice with some green Cholula (SP?) hot sauce.
Turned out GREAT!
Those in the beet juice look good also!

When I do them, I use the recipe in the Betty Crockett book.
Cedar vinegar, brown sugar, spices.

Interesting, just made a dozen of these 3 days ago. They were so good we ate 8 in 2 days. Yesterday the wife boiled another 6 to add to the juice. Great snack!

I put them in the smoker for an hour after peeling. Put them in the jar and fill the extra space with celery stalks. White vinegar, water, pickling salt, and fresh dill brought to a boil and poured in. 8-10 days soak and then it’s game time.

My best batch this year were in Vlasic Kosher Dill Spear juice with red pepper flakes & sweet onion added. Liked the pickled onion as much as the eggs.

Put up a dozen with leftover dill pickle and beet juice. Added some vinegar and pepper.
Never mixed it all up like that so its another experiment I guess.
