Just picked up a 4570 Marlin does it have sling swivel studs want to get a sling without drilling into stock and a barrel band for the magazine any good choices what I mean by good choice is what has worked for you and what you like thank you

My 1895SS, made in 1996 came with swivel studs.

GrovTec barrel band. Have them on almost all of our leveractions and they work fine. Then have someone make you a leather slip over sling for the butt stock.

Another vote for American made GrovTec. My lever action rifles have five round ammo holders made by Levergun Leather Works. I have a pristine Mod. 94 Winchester Big Bore .356 Winchester that got a GrovTech barrel band and I installed a sling stud on the rear off the butt. These are hunting guns and I have no problem with a stud for a QD sling attachment. Levergun Leather Works has info on attaching a sling to his butt cuff if you just can't stand the thought of drilling a hole for a sling stud. Your call for sure.

My favorite sling for a lever action hunting rifle is the leather Montana Sling with the fancy knot that allows quick one hand adjustments. They come in black and brown and 1" or 1.25" widths. For my bolt action rifles I like the 1.25" wide synthetic Hunting Sling made by Blue Force Gear, a maker of high end tactical slings. It also allows for quick one handed adjustments.
