Mowed part of my yard yesterday. Was changing the oil in one of my tractors, and decided to go ahead and change the oil in the zero turn while I was in the mood. I had put some fertilizer on the yard about 3 weeks ago, and it has caused the weeds to grow, so I figured I'd knock them down to where things didn't look so ragged. Kind of early to start mowing yards here, but guess I'd better get used to it.

If I mowed mine right now I would have to have flotation tires.

Thank God we are still frosting every night. I despise mowing. Cuts into too much fishing time.

I know yall grow different grass than us down here in Ga, but its funny...first couple real nice days....everyone heads to lowes and grabs fertilizer...not realizing they are fertilizing weeds and dormant grass. Just throwing money away.

I actually enjoy it, until it gets real hot in the summer, then let the oldest mow

Not time to mow here yet but the weeds are taking over the mulch beds.

Cool! Let the all nighters begin!

Sam, is your weather conducive to healthy calves this year. We are seeing highs near sixty, lows around thirty, a bit of breeze now and again, and zero precip in almost three weeks.

Perfect calving weather.

Im actually a month ahead of the game this year.
Made up a witches brew of weed killer of 2 different brands .
Sprayed the fugg outta all the ex weed whacking areas.
Homie dont weed whack anymore.
Fugg that schitt.
Firm beleiver in modern chemicals that kill plants easy peasy..

Gonna mow sunday or monday.

Might get all diligent and schit and mow once a month.
7 to 8 weeks is kinda extreme.
But mowing only 4 or 5 times last year was great.
And many of you seemed to enjoy my prairie grass refuge threads last year.

Lol!!!

Neighbors aint ever called codes on me yet.

But I also aint won yard of the month either.

Being 1st in things that dont count like lawn mowing to me dont mean much in my mind.

Khan can do the front lawn as much as she wants to keep it looking

ID, it's perfect right now. Highs 50-60F, lows in the teens. Very little snow or ice on the ground, cows are happy.

We had our bred heifers wintered on a section of wheat stubble and grassy coulees and were late getting them home last Monday. Real late given they started calving two days later!

Renegade, I tried using the high performance Toro with uber fast blade speed and bagger as sort of a dog chit vacuum cleaner. It sucked a few up and sliced and diced a few others!
