Any of you order one lately? I'm thinking about ordering one for my new 6x45.

No idea but I’m at about a month now and no word. Of course I knew that when I ordered it would be a while. Rumor at that time was sixish weeks so I hope I’m close.

Brownells has the Geiselle G2S in stock if you wanted a good trigger sooner.

I just received one. It is the straight trigger model. It took 4 weeks from order date to ship date. A very nice upgrade to the mil-spec that was in my new Stag.

BSA, have you tried the CMC 3 gun cartridge trigger? I have a few and they are an excellent trigger and can be found for $130 for the 2.5lb version Thanks for the suggestion Darryle. I'm actually pulling the CMC single stage out of the rifle and wanting to replace it with a good 2 stage trigger. I like the single stage CMC, but prefer a good 2 stage over it. I'm wanting to keep the price down and like the 3.5 pound range for a 2 stage. I've tried lighter, but don't really like lighter in my AR's. The Geisselle SSA-E is about as light as I want to go. So it sounds like there is at least a month wait for these fine triggers. I might just have to do a trigger swap. I have a good RRA varmint/match in my Armalite AR10308 that I may just trade with this 6x45. Thanks for everyones imput.

I received some disappointing news from LaRue yesterday. I contacted them because they had charged my card for the lower I ordered. Found out that they had indeed shipped which is good. I asked about the rest of the order, mainly the SUURG upper kit and was told lead times were 6-8 months.😳 I politely pointed out that the website still says 8-12 weeks like it did when I ordered it a month ago but that didn’t get a response. I asked if they could get a serial number for the can to my dealer so I could start the transfer and get the NFA wait out of the way at the same time and was told no.😢 Nothing like having a couple grand earmarked for a toy you can’t play with for a year and a half.

What did the company tell you when you called to ask lead times? Curious how that compares to others deliveries.

4-6 months has been my experience over the last year. That's what I was worried about. They are a little vague on their website. I saw a review where they were pretty disappointed by the time it took to receive the trigger. I guess I could order one now and expect it by Thanksgiving? Ha ha.. Took care of the problem though, just using one of my RRA 2 stage varmint match triggers... CMC single stage went into the Armalite AR10T.. Which is probably going up for sale soon.. Still debating that one though..

The last trigger I ordered was on 7/6/2020, and it shipped 9/25/2020. Other items have taken 4 months and longer to ship. It does look like they split up orders, and ship the parts they do have when they come back in stock.

A month isn't a big deal really, but if I had a rifle ready to go and it was truly gonna be 4 months or more, I would look at some cassette triggers myself. The Larue is pretty nice but I don't know if it is 4 months nicer than a 3.5 pound cassette trigger. Just my two cents.

I installed a RRA 2 stage varmint and also bought another one locally (yesterday). My LGS had one on the shelf for $90.00. I figured I'd buy it and have a spare. The RRA 2 stage varmint works just fine, and at 3.5 pounds it's just about right for my uses. I was shooting the rifle today and it's a 1.2 moa rifle as we speak. Still need to fine tune some loads. As soon as I get some more AR Comp powder, the rifle may surprise me. Running AA2015, LT32, RL7 and some H4895 and she's pretty consistent. Weather was crappy today (wind and rain), but not going to blame the group sizes on that. If a guy can't shoot in a little wind and rain, he shouldn't be shooting. At least that's what my Army ranger buddy told me at the range today. He didn't stick around long though. Just long enough to test some 62 gr Hornady FMJ's he got from midsouth. I think he fired off one 9 shot group and packed up his chidt. Freekin airborne rangers anyway. Mostly all talk.. Trigger was nice, so I'm glad I got that taken care of...

Thanks RMerta. If it isn't too long of a wait, I may buy one. I may need a replacement trigger for my new BCM. I'm not going to wait 2-4 months for one though. Oops, I can hear the naysayers now. I'm turning the mo fo into a "franken gun".. Ha ha.. I'm pulling the new green mountain barrel off of my 10-22 as well. Going to buy a Kidd instead. Oh shidt, is it even a Ruger anymore?

That’s cool. Maybe mine will get shipped soon.
I ordered mine on 22 March. I just checked it on the page.
Can’t wait to get it though. My little 6 ARC could use some love.

I talked to LaRue today...................10 weeks on triggers right now & they won't even quote lead time on barrels as it's beyond 6 months.
Like a lot of gun dealers, a lot of online dealers are going to go under for lack of product to sell.

Still waiting.... I did call Larue today and asked if or when they looked to ship my trigger out and I was told “ might be a couple of days or might be a couple more weeks “ So you've been waiting for almost 3 months on your trigger. Just a heads up for those wanting to put in an order. Some say it's only taken "4 weeks", some say 4 months. Yours damn near 3 months, and still no trigger. Thanks for keeping us posted buddy..

The only thing else on order is my barrel and that has been even longer of a wait. I ordered a 20” AR barrel in 6x6.8 caliber from Rich’s Precision Barrels in Utah. I’m currently on at least week 13 waiting. My buddy waited 23-24 weeks when he finally received his two barrels only to find the chamber reamer had not gone into the metal all the way. If you put a round in the chamber about 3/8’s” of brass was still sticking out. So on the shipping container he found the barrels were actually made by Tactical Ordinance in Washington. Rich’s Precision barrels is a middle man. So my buddy called TO and told them of the barrels. They sent him a return label. He sent them back and he called TO to see what they had to say. They said one barrel was scrapped but the other could be finished out. They said he would have the barrels replaced in no more than five days. Two full weeks later and still no barrels. With this in mind I called TO to see where my barrel was at in the waiting line. They said at least three more weeks before they would get started on it. When I placed my order with Rich he told me that I had made my order at the right time. They (TO) had been waiting for the steel to arrive and the orders were way behind but the steel had just arrived and that I would have my barrel in a week or two. Hahah Crazy times...

Damn man, you are not having good luck at all. Hit me up if you need some brass for that 6x6.8, or magazines or a bolt... Have an extra bolt from a fail zero BCG im not doing anything with..

The larue trigger is pretty nice for the money but it ain't three months of waiting nice, in my opinion anyway. At least you don't have an otherwise finished gun sitting there waiting on it.

My gunsmith said he could build me a trigger just as good as the larue should I tire of waiting. I told him since I’m still waiting on the barrel it’s all the same. BSA thanks for the offer as I have bought a Rubber City Armory bcg with the 6.8 bolt months ago. I literally have everything ready to go minus barrel and trigger. I was going to name my rifle the ‘Stimy’ but now I’m thinking of calling her Endurance.

Well a few minutes ago I I decided to email Larue and check on my trigger status. They said they are still waiting on parts but they did have the straight bow trigger in stock and would send that to me if I wanted to switch... Sheeet negro that’s all you had to say! I said Yes switch my order to the straight bow trigger and Send It! So I get a email that said the tracking number wouldn’t be available until UPS scanned it in.

They pulled the old bait and switch on me. They said they had the straight bow trigger in stock if I wanted to switch. I said Yes I’ll switch. It still hasn’t shipped. I sent them an email checking on the status. They replied the trigger will be shipped out soon. Good news my Form 1 was approved today. About a thirty day wait.

Sounds like they gave Sean your trigger, along with his. "twofer one" kind of fu cks other people. Especially when they are so far behind. They should be sending out those somb's as quick as they can, when they can. Just how I see it. I may be wrong. Its happened before.

Apparently it’s outsourced. They said they have been waiting on the parts to arrive. That's odd. IIRC, when they introduced the triggers, they made a big deal about the machines they had purchased to make them in house.

Looks like a solid 3 month wait. Thanks for the update. Was it the one you originally ordered or the flat shoe trigger?
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

My PRS rifle has a flat shoe trigger and I really like it. This Larue trigger is going in my coyote designated AR. I’m still waiting on my 6x6.8 barrel from Tactical Ordinance. TO has turned out to be a nightmare company to deal with. It’s a new lie every time I talk to them.

Glad to hear you got your Larue trigger.
