Anyone else having problems with mail. Young son moved from here (Oregon) to Billings, Mt. before Christmas. About half of our mail going his way gets delivered. The other half is in their system for almost 2 months, and ends up being returned. Been trying to get his W2's that way since 28 Jan. Color me frustrated.

A lot of Transgender employees are refusing to work the mail sorting machines for fear of breaking a nail.

I have not seen last week's paycheck for the previous two weeks yet.

I would be really pissed if it were not all direct deposit. I had to go see HR to have a new statement printed. Gotta keep track of the accrued vacation and sick leave, you know.

My local USPS does a good job. UPS on the other hand is a joke, they refuse to deliver if there is snow on the ground and when they do they deliver to the wrong address. I'm just lucky to have neighbors that drop off packages. When placing orders I generally note to not use UPS.

Had a small problem with the USPS delivery, but nothing terrible.

Our UPS drivers are given 4x4 Trucks during the winter to get around.

A few weeks ago, during the snowstorm, UPS left my packages propped up on my mailbox out on the highway. Delivered them about 4PM, and I just happened to see them the next morning as I was going out. They left packages at several other addresses the same way. Why no one stole them, I don't know. Must be some honest people going up and down that road.

My buddy told me yesterday he'd mailed me a trigger last October.

We had talked about it in October and he told me he had it and would send it to me. I figured he'd forgotten about it. No big deal.

We were chatting the other day and he asked if I'd ever gotten it? Nope. We had a laugh. It's really pathetic.

In 2020

4,800 new mailing addresses were added every day. I know when we moved 10 years ago, it was a 2 year battle to receive our mail.

173,100,000 pieces of 1st class mail each day.

63,181,500,000 Pieces of 1st class mail in 2020.

Then you have other parts of their business that pushes the mail person:
Marketing Mail
Shipping and Packages
international
Periodicals
Others

Yes, I have mail and packages that come slow or never arrives. However other shipping business have not been as reliable as the USPS.

So yes we receive other mail and packages, most we are able to take to our neighbors, others are returned to the post office for their handling.
