..... somewhat of a rare optic. This Tactical unit was originally packaged in the Vari-X III line as Leupold’s Black Ring/specialty optic ... but essentially served as the precursor to the venerable MARK 4 Tactical Scopes. It was typically packaged with the Remington M700 “Police Sniper Rifle” and was a common scope choice by LEO and Military contracts (according to an inquiry to Leupold). It has DiamondCoat on the external and MultiCoat 4 on the interior glass; I own a few Vari-X III’s, VX-III’s and a couple VX-3’s and the glass quality on this Tactical model is every bit as impressive as the very latest from Leupold. The reticle is the football MIL DOT that is extremely clear ... the power ring is yardage marked to utilize the magnification and reticle to range target. Basically, this is Leupold’s Tactical Optic offering before the 34mm tube and obnoxious oversized M1 Tactical Turret craze ... at about a quarter of the price. The condition of this scope is excellent/mint - very faint partial ring line/mark ... is not noticeable unless under bright light w/ readers on (for me anyway). Scope comes with Warne Maxima QD Rings (weaver style) ... and of course Leupold’s Lifetime Warranty applies. If you PM me I can send several add’l pics with details of the scope and tube reticle view that I’ve taken with iPhone cam.
$475 for the scope and QD rings, includes Shipping to the lower 48 ... PayPal FF or M.O.
... a couple add’l pics (reticle) below. Very foggy and rainy today in Missouri and my phone doesn’t do the greatest job of illustrating the sharpness & clarity of this scope Mil Dot reticle, but it’s the best I have atm.
