I have two scopes, one needs to go down the road. Will go on a t3x 6.5cm with a 419 rail.

Zeiss Conquest HD5 3-15x50 Z-800 reticle
Vortex Razor HD LH 3-15x42 G4 BCD reticle

The Zeiss weighs 5 oz more but I'm not too concerned about weight. I'm looking for thoughts on which scope is better optically, durability, tracking, etc.

Appreciate it, thanks.

I’d sell both and pick up new Razor LHT or Zeiss V4 if dialing

I'd keep them both. Never know when a new rifle might show up.

This.

They are both good scopes and you would have a hard time replacing them for what you would get for one selling it.

Everything but their very top models are junk so they have a busy warranty dept.
Razor and AMG line you will have less chance of failure but the rest is junk.

Nobody does more warranty work than Leupold...🤣

I've killed zeiss, leupold, bushnell, sightron... worst experience ever was bushnell.

Just sent in a vortex. Not sure if I killed it, or it was defective. I'll post back on the warranty experience ...

Unless I was really strapped for cash I'd keep both.

I had a Conquest HD5 (although not that particular reticle) and didn't care for it.
No experience with the Razor. My personal and admitted limited experience with Vortex in general hasn't been complimentary...

For me it would be an easy decision to send both down the road and get something else.

Ultimately, it's your $$ and the only one you need to please is yourself.

Easy question for me, I'd have never bought a Vortex in the first place.
