Bringing an RV from Canada Into the US.
i am considering buying a used RV from Canada . it is currently in langley B.C. it would be delivered to Blaine, Washington.
Are their any pitfalls to this idea that you are aware of? It is in Langley B.C but they seem to have a way to transport it to Blaine.

Bear, it might be more trouble than it's worth.
Do your homework, and good luck with it!

I brought a pontoon boat in the other way last August—from Wisconsin to Thunder Bay, ON. I had to use a broker as I was not allowed to go to the border to pick it up. $10,000 boat cost me extra $850 US delivery Brokerage fees which included all taxes was $550 plus $250 for the crane to unload it. I still saved money.

There is a company that transports RV's between the US and Canada located on the Canadian side at the truck crossing in Blaine. Can't recall the name, but I'm sure they would know what's involved. Be prepared to pay the tax on the RV's value at the time of crossing

Thanks for the info guys. The complications were more than I was willing to take on. We have abandoned the effort. Gary
