seeing how crowdfunding is so popular these asy I was thinking maybe the fire could crowd fund a rifle project to be raffled off to a fire member and the proceeds donated to a worthy charity. I was thinking we could send a 742 Remington to Redneck, alog with a set of SEETHRU mounts, a 6-24 walmart blister pack scope. a harris Bipod clone have Lee work his magic and put it all together have him take some pictures holding thi finished project and then we raffle it off

I did several of those for a donation to a couple of returning vets from the Middle East...
While it was fun, and a worth while project, It was sort of a hand full....
I would do it again in a heart beat, but I wouldn't recommend it for others.. a lot of squabbles developed over doing it..
especially the several I did for "needy" kids at Christmas time...
I think that is what soured the campfire on doing those, and it also soured me, trying to do something good for those less advantaged,
and it worked out people getting in arguments...
a Go Fun Me page would be easier....
