I had it on watch ,but didn't get back to it on time. Refinished or not it was still a good deal on getting a rare rifle. Its about 1/2 of what an original in that condition would bring. Don

I would get one but, with all due respect, I’m not feeling the urge to defend Montreal!

Somebody has to defend Montreal. If the city is willing to scrounge up an MHG for me I'll be happy to throw together some sand bags on the edge of town.

Once one has been to Montreal and walked around the cosmetics counter in a large department store or on a warm summer night done the bar crawl in Old Montreal, you would see why Montrealers wanted their home guarded!

This was a gag, not a political statement or a shot a Canada.

I was but a lad of 16 or 17, junior in an all male catholic high school, when I signed up for the French Club. Not because I enjoyed learning québécois, but because a wiser senior than me had educated me on the benefits of the yearly ‘Field Trip’ winter vacation including a weekend in Montreal.

Ohhhhh St. Catherine. Was I ever blessed!

Always bring a couple red and white cans of the Made in Quebec, Pure Maple Syrup home.
