OP andrews1958 Campfire Regular A Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 2,390 Maine	Just saw a beautiful Harry Lawson rifle. The stock was incredible. Beautiful English walnut. Great bluing I now have got to have one for my collection. I have started watching Gun Broker and the others for one for sale. They have a few but I want to purchase one with a fantastic grained stock If you have or know of a smaller caliber one for sale please contact me. Thanks for looking and helping

Some of the early Lawson's were built on model 600s. Randy has some parts that can dress up that model as well as Remington 700s. Bolt shroud and proprietary triggerguard with cross bolt safety. lastofthebreed Campfire Member Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 335	Andrew: I went to Cableas today and looked at the Lawson rifle. It is an awfully pretty gun. Probably a little better than 90%. The scope is indeed a Swarovski. The butt pad is in bad shape. The wood finish is almost flawless. I am not up to speed on the value of these rifles but this one is nice.
