Small world, I’d wager your friend was on the Sacramento River about 2 miles south of Grimes, I know that deer well.

Small world, I’d wager your friend was on the Sacramento River about 2 miles south of Grimes, I know that deer well. Heh. Right on. Lots of eyes everywhere. Saw a jet black doe up near Lassen last year. I've never seen an albino animal except a white squirrel.
