... fairly rare optic. This scope was originally packaged in the Vari-X III line as Leupold’s Black Ring/Specialty Tactical Optic ... but essentially served as the precursor to the venerable Leupold MARK 4 Tactical Scopes. It was typically packaged with the Remington M700 “Police Sniper Rifle” and was a common optic choice by LEO and Military contracts (according to an inquiry to Leupold). It has DiamondCoat on the external and MultiCoat 4 on the interior glass; I own a few Vari-X III’s, VX-III’s and a couple VX-3’s and the glass quality on this Tactical model is every bit as impressive as the latest 3’s from Leupold. The reticle is the original football MIL DOT that is extremely distinctive & clear ... the power ring is yardage marked to utilize the magnification and reticle to range target. Basically, this is Leupold’s Tactical Optic offering before the 34mm tube and the oversized M1 Tactical Turret craze ... at about a quarter of the price.
The condition of this scope is excellent/mint - glass is perfect - very faint partial ring line/mark ... is not noticeable unless under bright light w/ readers on (for me anyway). Scope can be shipped with Warne Maxima QD Rings (weaver style) also ... and of course Leupold’s Lifetime Warranty applies. If you PM me I can send several add’l pics with details of the scope and tube reticle view that I’ve tried to take with iPhone cam.

$390 for the scope, includes Shipping to the lower 48 ... PayPal FF or M.O.
($50 for the Warne Maxima QD Rings)
