They don't show the trailer but I'll bet the axles were too far forward for the weight distribution, making it too light on the hitch. I can't make out what motors he has on it.

Some dealers sell undersized trailers to cut costs. On some, the transom will be hanging feet off the ends of the bunks. $100K boat and save $1K on the trailer.

The article says it started to sway. It hit a guard rail and then came unhooked. The most common cause of swaying is too little weight on the tongue.

The come with three 350hp Yamaha's or Mercury's on them but you can get them set up for quad 300 hp outboards too.

The popular way to max out the horsepower with this boat to mount three 425 hp outboards on them.
With that setup you can get 68 mph out of that hull if you don't mind burning 110 gallons of gas an hour.
