No change beats the Hell out of changes for the bad.
Exactly what would you remove from or add to our Constitution that would possibly make it better? Mandated term limits for every POS in DC for one. OK, you now have your term limits, now what? Now you elect a new person every 2-4 years who is still corrupted, now what do you do? Society has evolved into the bottom of the barrel, where there is no longer the characteristics the Founders had, and even they wrote a Constitution, when they were only suppose to make adjustments to the AOC. So, when you no longer have integrity, morals, and honor, you will never have freedom. The Oligarchs control the whole of government. They are just making their last moves to enslave the world. We will have to rise up, if we don't want to live enslaved.

Here's a great idea. Let's do nothing and I'm sure everything will start working out for us like it hasn't for the last 100 years. Of course we can all sit here and talk about how the army of patriots are just gonna take to the streets, start stacking bodies and reclaim America. The Left has been winning this war with us for a century through progressive incrementalism and evil. Again, if we do nothing different, not only will nothing change, but the demise will continue to accelerate the country away from what we want. History shows it has to hit bottom, before you can fix it. People are not suffering enough yet, and with the patriots the public schools have produced, over the last 4 decades, the abilty to get people to find a backbone to fight will make it even more difficult. Sucks to be a lot of people, but Texas will be ok.

Look at voting maps of last election. Not all but many red states are blue in the area of the state capitol. This needs to start at county level. So the politicians controlled by the swamp don't grab a chance to re-write the constitution to their liking. Red states cleaning up voting laws and refusing any interference from the fed might be a better start. While I agree with many who say we won't vote ourselves out of this mess, before we take that drastic step we need to at least clean up state politics. Where you live is going to matter in the very near future. We need to get our house in order locally before we try and do anything on the national level.

What a bunch of know nothings.Have any of you read about how a Convention of States works? It would be run by our State Legislators. The Republicans control both houses in the majority of States. It allows to limit the powers of Federal Bureaucrats and elected officials AE Senators and Congress critters. It could impose term limits.Do we really need Nancy Pelosi,Chuck Schumer to be life time office holders? It is not meant to scrap what we already have, but to modify it so a single party can not be in office forever. It would give us back having State Legislators control their States elections and not some States attorney sponsored by Soros to call the shots on elections. The big problem here is GROUP THINK.Too many don`t have an original thought of their own and just parrot what some one else says.LORD HELP US"IDIOTS ABOUND"

Since it is too hard for some of you to actually read and comprehend the article I posted I have cut and pasted what it is all about.
"The key is found in Article V of the United States Constitution. The Founders of our country left us this key knowing that the federal government would never relinquish its power willingly."
"They left this power to the states. The states can call for an Article V Convention of States to propose amendments to the Constitution that would limit the size, scope, and jurisdiction of the federal government, impose fiscal restraints, and pass term limits for members of Congress."
There, that is pretty easy to understand, but maybe not!!

But who's gonna enforce it? If they are thumbing their noses at us now, why would that change?

The collection of taxes which are not absolutely required, which do not beyond reasonable doubt contribute to public welfare, is only a species of legalized larceny. Under this Republic the rewards of industry belong to those who earn them. Coolidge

I have told many people, and now you as well, that once this is over, you'll wish for what you had and now lost. Super dumb idea to have a convention of states. It ain't going to end well.

Yes, why don't we just ask Soros and the liberal elite of Europe to write a replacement Constitution for us?
Besides that, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the one we have. It is the most perfect instrument ever conceived by the hand of Man.
It simply needs enforced as written. Yep and the fact that it isn’t enforced says what is wrong with our country; respect for rule of law is of first importance and a citizenry that fails in this regard won’t do better under a new system. We’re going down.

There, that is pretty easy to understand, but maybe not!! Maybe it’s you who has the comprehension problem, Hunts. Try reading here,,,,again,,,what you’ve posted, 3 times if you have to. The States “make proposals “. Now envision if you will - who - then votes on those proposals? Now envision if you will - who - holds the Majority seats in both houses of Congress? Now envision if you will - who - is the President that would so happily sign off on these wonderful changes ? Not NO. Hell NO ! We missed our chances for that in the first 2 years of Trump’s presidency.

Careful what you advocate/wish for. Republicans control a majority of the state legislatures. It's literally, the only avenue we have leverage in to force changes we want. With the Left controlling only around 40% of the state legislatures, there's zero chance they force their commie schit on us through this means. Doing things centrally through DC has been a long slow bleed to death that has become a gaping chest wound now. Doing nothing different will lead to more of the same. These are desperate times and require ballsy measures. If we're lucky, with all the garbage going on right now, we can pick up an even bigger advantage at the states in 2022, and have a super majority that can override any attempt by DC to stop us. I no longer Trust Republicans, think Kemp. And Roberts...for openers..

There, that is pretty easy to understand, but maybe not!! So you call your states convention in the HOPE that they write an amendment for term limits. What is to keep your delegates from deciding that instead of term limits, the nation would be better served with a total elimination of the Bill of Rights. I am not saying that such an elimination would ever be ratified by the states in today's political climate. But a lot of other undesirable things could be, including "minor adjustments" to that pesky 2'nd amendment. There is nothing in Article V to hold your delegation to a single task.

The amendments have to be proposed to be voted on.Why is it so hard for you to comprehend? There are two ways to amend the Constitution: 1) Congress can propose amendments and the states can ratify them, or 2) The states can call a convention to propose amendments and send them back to the individual states to be voted on.

AGAIN, How do you intend to limit the scope of your convention to the matters YOU want addressed.
Because once a convention is called, you already know which matters California, New Jersey, Delaware, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, New York, Oregon, Washington, etc, etc will wish to address.
We want balanced budget, term limits, and a stronger 2'nd.
They want the 2'nd rescinded, and would nearly give up anything to see it happen.
The only GOOD thing I can see about a States' Convention, is that the Left is even more scared of one than are most of us on the Right.

Remember that many states thought the Constitutional convention was going to tweak the Articles of Confederation.
For those who liked the looser arrangement the wider scope didn’t work out so well...
We could very well end up with the United Socialist State of North America or some such...

To late for that now. We must take our country back today. Then maybe the convention will mean something.
