In my opinion, can’t beat Rick Dickson’s Ontario black bear hunts.

Can one fly in there? Right now the border is closed (mostly) to Americans, with an unknown open date.

If you just want a bear, Ontario will work .The area around Longlac was crawling with them when I was there 2-3 years ago. The Flint Wilderness lodge was the place to go for hunting and stellar fishing. I'm sure hunting pressure has been way down since the border closure, so it might be even better now. I think bigger bears tend to come from Manitoba and Alberta. Alberta had a two bear limit the last I knew. Agassiz Outfitters in Manitoba are quality people and produce some big bears. The outfitter I used to hunt with there has retired. I'm sure there are dozens of good choices in M&A provinces. I met a guy at a show in MI who ran Keg Country Outfitters. His operation yields some huge Alberta bears. Here's hoping for the border to reopen. Best of luck.

Hunt in Oregon, Washington, Idaho or Montana.
Canadian not spoken there.

Won't be going until 2023 when my buddy retires.

Sandy River Outfitter , Mannitoba They do everything to get you a good size bear . Camp is right on the river , so fishing is good and included . First class chow . Guides work really hards . Stands are all active or they don't hunt them .
