Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition. The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. The action functions correctly in single and double action. The lockup is tight. This is a K Frame revolver with a pinned barrel and recessed cylinder. We did not fire this handgun. Comes in its original two piece Blue Cardboard box, Inside the box is the original S&W wax paper, Asking $800 shipped from my FFL to yours. Not looking for trades. PM me if you want it. Thanks. His description is cut and pasted from the original listing. 98%, no erosion in the bore, we did not fire this handgun, etc.
Doesn’t mean it’s not a legit deal, though.
What say ye, Middlechild? Can you provide some more current photos, if only to clear the air a bit? Maybe with a current newspaper in the background? That sure is a nice model 13.

A picture of the gun next to a current newspaper (a la 1970's TV kidnapping episodes - ha ha) would put peoples concerns to rest. Legit concerns IMO.

The most recent newspaper I would be able to find is probably from the last century lol. A handwritten note with today's date next to the object is good enough. Write the S&Ps closing price for the day if you really want to get fancy.

I saw this, and then saw the same pic on another forum, the same scam, different user name "onen2". That was also a scammer, cost a guy some $$$ via USPS MO, but the douche had three other high end wheel gun ads posted, and he's history now. You saved some other gun guys some $$$...

I don't know anything about the OP, nor do I care. But it would seem that if he were a legit guy trying to make a legit sale he surely would have defended himself, or at least attempted to, by now.
