I was in the Paducah, KY Rural King store yesterday, and they had 5 gallon buckets of magazines at some very good prices. AR's, AK's, Glock 19, and AR-10 mags were what I saw. I picked up two of the 10 round AR-10 magazines, stopped to look at something else, laid them down, and walked out forgetting all about them until I was several miles down the road. May try a different RK on the way to the softball game tonite and see if they have them.

Any of you close to one of their stores might want to check it out.

I want a Rural King to open in my area. I’ve never been to one but they seem like a cool store. Kind of a Tractor Supply meets gun store.

I’m going to be in the Smokey Mtns. this summer. I’ll have to stop at a Rural King and Bud’s while going through KY.

I went into Rural King yesterday. First handling of the Ruger American 9mm, seemed ok. Noted that most of the rifles on the rack were Axis's, two being Mossbergs, and all but one 6.5 creed. Like 9 6.5's. Whomever is stocking my local RK is a fricking idiot.

Rural King stores are okay, but they attract a crowd like you usually see at flea markets and the "ride all you want for 5 dollars" day at the county fair.

Great big sign in front of the gun counter at the one I was in yesterday..............Welcome To Remington Country............and not a Remington gun in the place.......lol.

They shut down the popcorn at ours. I guess because popcorn causes the covid. I run in on occasion to see if they have any ammo. The giant bin of mummified pig ears gives the store some ambiance. The clientele does seem to be overly represented by the more marginalized part of the community.

Might ought to consider stopping at Whittaker's Guns, too. If not on your way down maybe on your way back home.

Bud's owns a gun/outdoor sports business in Greenville KY, too, called Uncle Lee's.

They just opened one up near me. Cant even get in the place. Packed.

They got Big B brand pickled bologna wieners in the gallon jar and 10lb bags of C&S pure cane sugar.

Canning jars, and lids are not scarce here.

Canning lids are frickin impossible to find around here. Not in the Walmarks, not in the dollar general.
