I hate illegal immigration but if I or my family were in their shoes, I'd be trying to do the exact same thing and I'll bet you would too if you can be even a little bit honest. Our politicians are the only ones that truly deserve ridicule for this issue and they deserve as much as you'd like to heap on their heads. Our forefathers were once in the shoes of their forefathers, untill ours whipped King George. You think we should piss off the deaths and sacrifices ours made for us by bankrupting our country for plans such as they are part of? We have provided more relief of human misery on this earth than any other couuntry has previously. You think the earth should be screwed over because we were destroyed by illegal aliens like these, who are pawns for the deep state's Cloward-Pivens stratgey? I don't disagree with you jaguartx but don't think you're reading my post correctly. I seriously doubt our forefathers would be putting up with our current politicians and their anti-American agenda. If our government actually did their job, we would have zero illegal immigration right now because this is an out and and out invasion and both borders should be 100% secure and fiercely guarded by our military. That being said, I don't blame those fleeing their chit-hole countries for the US because our corrupt and greedy politicians (on both sides of the aisle) are making it very appealing with catch and release, under the table jobs (which would go away if we started jailing employers), hotel stays, free schooling and all kinds of other "freebies", along with a wink and a nod for upcoming amnesty. If I (or any reasonable person) were in their shoes, the only logical choice would be to do your best to get into the "promised land". Their suffering is their doing but I'm not going to take joy in seeing somebody suffer because they want a better life for themselves or their kids. They shouldn't have made their move and I doubt they would risk what they have if we made it VERY CLEAR that attempting to get into or stay in this country illegally is 100% not a viable option! Actually getting in should never have been an option but it's been going on for DECADES because we keep electing the fox to guard the hen house (with the exception of Trump). IMO, we shouldn't have or need holding cells of any kind, only buses, trains and planes that the border patrol loads them on immediately and gets them heading back the way they came (with food, water and first-aid being provided en route). And if those receiving countries don't cooperate, we drop their people off anyway and cut off 100% of all trade and support to their country!
