Evenin'
Do all you 99 fans have room at the fire for an old hand from Montana that has an itch for them myself?

Sure!
New guys buy the beer. Welcome aboard.

I came down with the disease nearly 30 years ago when my Grandad's brother decided I needed to be the next generation to care for his old savage. It's an 1899-A takedown built in 1913 with a 26" barrel in 25-35. A few years later I put a 99G in 303 in the safe with it and as soon as the lights went out, they went to multiplying. They have been so prolific that I had to sell other good stuff just to make room for the offspring.

Dear Bull Elk,
Welcome! There is no known birth control plan for Savage 99's multiplying in the safe. Why sell good stuff, when another safe is the answer? Redcoat

Just buy a safe door and turn your furnace room into a safe!!!
Lots of room for 99's in there, you could corner the market!

Welcome to our therapy session. We all help each other cope with this incureable disease. We help each other buy, when in doubt. We help forgive, when a 99 is sold. We give hope ,when a 99 is missed. We all applaud , when a great deal is found. We will be here for you Bull. Mark <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
If you really like something, you better buy two!

Oh yes,
On some occasions the first liar doesn't stand a chance. So if you wait for some one else to start you can top it.
Welcome to the brotherhood.

Sharps,
I originally spent time in Havre but currently split my time between Billings, Helena and Great Falls. I've travelled your neck of the woods and like it. I hauled my trailer south of Wise River one year to Crystal Park. What a gorgeous place but getting up that grade gave the old suburban asthma. There wasn't hardly enough ocatane in the gas or oxygen in the air to get the job done. Got great mileage coming home though!
