That Elvis clip was on years before I was born, but Ed was on till I was 10. Amazing run.

Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile. Happily Trapped In the Past (Thanks, Joe) Not only a less than minimally educated person, but stupid and out of touch as well.

All the girls at school were talking about "The Beatles will be on Ed Sullivan." I never had heard of The Beatles but had to watch that show on Sunday night. One of the great moments in American pop culture.

In my opinion, it was the biggest waste of television show time. I'm sure there are others as well.
