I've had an old SC 3-9 from way back, the crosshairs are broken, anybody have a clue on who can work on these?

Thanks, Jim

iron Sight Inc. in Tulsa, OK, does great work, but they almost always have a slow turn around.

My experience with them as well.

They did a very good job restoring an old scope for me; took about five months, pretty good turnaround for scope repair but probably too long for the newschoolers.

Send it in to Bushnell, see what they have to say. Scopechief's were second from bottom of the line I think, they may not repair it. I had one go bad on me during an elk hunt, found it was bad when I missed a big 6 point elk.

Do you want it fixed, or simply replaced? Bushnell will replace it with whatever they consider is the current equivalent in their scope line....

Actually, they were Bushnell's top of the line. FWIW the local rep for Bushnell repaired one of mine without a quibble, despite its having a couple of decades on it. That is here in Oz though, so YMMV.

I've had Iron Sight Inc. refurbish a dozen or so Redfield, Unertl, and Weaver scopes. The turn around times ran from 6 months to well over a year.

Well that good to see. I've got two very old Redfield's that if they broke I'd want the fixed. Both Denver scope's 2 3/4x fixed and 1-4x

Interesting, I have one resting in a box of scopes I won't fool with. I may send it in and see if they can make it a bit more clear.

Wrong again, the scope is a "Sportview" which was a low end scope.

I sent mine into Bushnell Canada, some years back and got a low end scope as replacement. It wasn't even a mid line. The reticle had ended up on the bottom. after a dunk in the river.

I believe that most, if not all, of Bushnell's repair parts for older scopes burned up during the 1992 Rodney King riots.
