So I am going to use my stimulus money to buy a suppressor and was wondering if anyone has gone through silencercentral.com? It seems like a good one-stop shop to get everything done, even if it costs a few more dollars. I plan to set up a trust and am looking at their Banish 30. I have a rimfire suppressor and this would be my first centerfire, I would use it for 300WM and below and probably buy a dedicated can for .223 eventually.

Anyway, does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with them?

Thanks,

GB1

Guy I work with has one in jail with them. They did a payment plan for him if that matters to you at all. He claims they have some way of shipping it to his house direct when his stamp is approved but I don’t know if that’s true or not.

I’ve used the SilencerShop. Waiting for stamp now. 🤞🏻

Straightforward and painless using the SS kiosk @ LGS.

This is what I did too. If you don’t buy the silencer at your LGS you’ll likely pay a large transfer fee. Everything I’ve heard about Silencer Central has been good. I think either route makes it quick and easy.

You mentioned setting up a trust. From everything I read before buying my suppressors since some of changes under Obama it’s generally better to go the individual route now rather than setting up a trust.

Buddy did a trust, no issues! He can add people to it. He offered to put me on it, so I could use it without him being present. Wait time was long for his going trust route.

I have a few from them. I highly recommend them. They were there 100% in support and questions I had. They set everything up in a trust. I will use them again. Don’t be afraid to call them and talk. They have been great for comunication

Now with a trust I think you have to pic and print everyone named every time.

I may be mistaken though.

Yes. The laws changed but I think most of the shops now online help get everything set up. They are so popular now I think a bad one has the word spread and faster than anything.

I have 2 from them. It was the easiest way possible to get a can and yes, if they are licensed as dealers in your state, they can ship your can directly to you at your home.
I highly recommend them.

Thanks guys - it looks like the best route to go, I'll be calling them this week. A trust will allow my kids to have the suppressor without me being present so I think that's the best option.

They are local to me. Good people, good business practices and excellent customer service.

They are breaking ground for a new building right off I29 on the South side of Sioux Falls in the new business park.

Good shootin'. smile -Al

For the op and anyone else I interested, the sales rep I dealt with was Ryan harkema, would highly recommend omens him. Don’t know if they work on commission or just a regular job but spent a few hours on phone over a few calls helping me get the stuff I needed for paperwork and mount options for the variety of hosts I have. I’m planning on another this summer.

Local shop has a Silencer Central Kiosk

That's what "we" used, when I bought my suppressor from them.

Pretty simple, no pain process, just a LOOOONNNNNNGGGG wait for things to clear with the feds.
