I'm looking at the national weather forecast. Once again you easterners are hogging all the snow. We could sure use some on the western side of the Rockies. Our snowpack in many places is about 60% of normal.

Hey, weve had 4 inches out here west of Kermit the last 2 years. A couple years before that we went a year or two only allowed to water lawns a bit every couple of days. And our city planners want to paint the overpasses and abutments real pretty so those passing through will want to stay, when we already have bumper to bumper miserable traffic most the day now.

We ended up with 8-9 inches of nice wet snow here east of the Wind Rivers today. They had forecast 18 inches in the mountains.
Hope you end up with what you need.

We got some snow yesterday and a little more today. At 75% of normal in the mountains. The spring is at a little less than half of it's peak flow two years ago. May have to use some canal water this year.

We haven't had the normal spring rains for several years. Until this winter, the mountain snowpacks haven't been bad, though.
