Snowolfe. Nice ride. I’ve watched that vid a couple times before. Gives you a real idea what it’s like to really drive hard. Thanks. My 2020 is the A10 version. After 50+ years of shifting I am done, lol.

Its 2021.If your car can`t do the eighth mile in just over 3 seconds you better stay home. This ^ needs a distance or time correction, or a smiley face & 10 LOL's.

Best I could ever do in track was around 60 sec. Then they switched to 400M and all my quarter times were irrelevant.

You still figuring on that AMX? Yep. Maybe found the engine and drive train for it. The donor is the same width and ten inches longer.

What E T could one expect a 3,500 pound car to do with 380HP? ................Depends on how it it is geared; rear diff, trans and engine torque in ft lbs as well. I'll guess low to high 13s.

I'm convinced you guys will laugh, but here goes.
I think I found a company in Sacramento which will supply a turbocharged 3.6R Subaru Outback and running gear. The guy on the phone claims 380 H P. I think the whole thing will be less than$15,000.
I had a 2011 that got 36 mpg at a steady 55 mph and 20 mpg at a steady 108 mph following California traffic. It weighs about 3,800 pounds.
My son-in-law bought it from me. He told me it is better than his Jeep on ice.

Dodge says my hellcat will do 11.2 in a 1/4 If I wasn't into four wheel drive what you have is what I would want. It sounds great. I bet it will do 125 mph in that time.

You must be a glutton for punishment, be a good fabricator, or have deep pockets to do that conversion. Just because it will physically "FIT" does not mean it will work without lots of chassis fabbing. If you have to pay to have it done, you better add another 20k min to the budget. You would have a one of a kind though!

Eh, driveline shortening is darned cheap compared to what you are spending on this project. Interested to hear details. The neighbor has an old AMC Marlin sitting behind his place. It was gorgeous 30 years ago. Very reminiscent of a 67 Chevy 2 door Impala. But it is getting pretty sun faded these days. It would make for an interesting and unusual restoration.

A Chevy small block or even a big block would be better choices than a Subaru. And down the road should you sell it? A Chev V8, a Hemi V8 or even a Ford V8 power train would all be much more desirable choices to a buyer..

Maybe some one here can suggest a hemi with a eight or ten speed automatic transmission that has a four wheel drive.
