Has anyone here shortened a Manners MCS-UC carbon graphite stock? I've got one that I bought used and I need to shorten the LOP. I've done this on both fiberglass and wood stocks and installed recoil pads using a bench belt sander. I use a Dewalt 14" miter saw with high count carbide teeth.

My concern is cutting the stock and having a lot of splintering. Any experience here?

Thanks

Not quite an answer to your question, but Manners will do this I think for $30 plus shipping. I've cut a million carbon fiber arrows using an abrasive cutoff wheel.
