I have an early Remington seven in 223 with walnut checkered stock wearing a Leupold compact 2-7 gloss scope. It’s a pure joy to shoot, balances perfectly and literally snaps up to the shoulder... not to mention it looks great!
It isn’t for sale, but my recommendation to you is to hold out until you find one, and when you do, buy it!

My CZ 527 carbine is pretty light and VERY short and handy. They have steel mags, iron sights, set trigger and CRF.
