OP Heeler Campfire Regular H Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 2,000 Cass Co, MO	Local Scheel's had some N560 come in and bought a couple pounds. It was $42/lb for those curious. Looking for some min/max guidance on N560 and a 140gr Accubond. Nosler manual has N160 and N165, but no N560. Gonna experiment with the 7mm Mag/N560 also. Been finding plenty of data on that. He went over yonder way

downwindtracker2 Campfire Tracker Joined: May 2001 Posts: 4,124 B.C.	I loaded some in my 6.5-06 but it was with 129gr. My notes don't say much about it. Got a good group with 52.0gr. Then switched to 140gr and RL-25 with 54.0 gr as my best load. I didn't like RL-25 in my 264, but it worked fine in my 6.5-06. In my 338WM, I find N-560 about a grain faster than RL-22. It's a powder with a minimum pressure .Once in it's sweet spot, it's very consistent burning. You can hunt longer with wind at your back

scottishkat Campfire Regular S Joined: Sep 2015 Posts: 833	Nosler Has N165 at 52.5 and N560 at 53 gr with 130 gr NAB. Berger shows 51.6 gr N560 with a 140 VLD with no brass capacity or primer manufacturer mentioned. 51.6 is probably plenty safe. N560 is always about half a grain more than 165 with the same bullet. FWIW I worked up to 50gr N560 with no signs and 140 VLD WLR combo in necked down 30-06 Lapua brass accuracy was not as good as H1000 or RL22. I may revisit some day I have RL 23 to try as well. Thanks for posting I think I'm going to get quickload 61 grains of capacity seems reasonable. N560 has been reliably accurate in everything 6.5 I've run it through.
