That’s a dandy. And rare, especially up here.
My faithful old LH M70 FW 3o-o6 is currently disassembled, awaiting Cerakote and a new scope. So I’ll probably be hunting with a lowly Tikka, in 6.5CM, of all things... 🤪
I've seen more well-shot game lost with TSXs than any other premium bullet.

just a standard SS 30-06 barreled action. Barrel cut to 21”,PT&G aluminum bottom metal, Talley extra lows and a Leupold fixed 3X scope. McMillan hunters edge stock.

Also, and maybe more important, where did the balance point fall? I have the exact rifle in 338WM that I've always thought about doing the same thing to. My plan was to bed into stock of choice with new bottom metal and then cut back the 26" barrel till preferred balance point achieved.

The balance on this one is on the front guard screw. It weighs 7lbs 3ozs.

Oh man. Put a bag over your head. Laughing! Keeps snowing I was thinking a balaclava. Can I ask why the Hunter's Edge and not the Echol's?

Nice! Looks about ideal. I have 2 LH M70s, One is a 30-06 the other 7RM. I know that leaving them original is "ideal" but would like to put the 06 in a synthetic stock and maybe get it CeraKoted. Any qualms with the McMillan stock? It ain't easy to find many LH synthetic stocks.
