Glad to be home safe.

On my way to work a few afternoons ago, there was a guy planting a long field north of the road. Loose soil and a stiff wind and there was an almost perfect line of dust devils coming my way from up over the horizon. Bet I could see a dozen or so of them all in a line.
Bought a boat and been cussing the wind, but that was pretty cool to see...

Best way to guarantee wind is to plan a trip to the lake in the spring.

Hey Tikkanut, other than a little wind I did not think it was that bad in Podunk while we were there. There were those two nights though when we thought the trailer might launch itself into the lake, but still we survived.

Been pretty damn nice the last week. Finally got to swapping tires studded>slicks on the fleet.

Then again, we pay for this the rest of the year! 😏😉

You hit the nail on the head. High today was 63℉, sunny and beautiful. Snow is about gone so I'll be able to work in the yard tomorrow.

I'm headed down to St George this morning towing my boat. Gonna fish for a couple days. They promise the wind and rain will quit later today down there. Not here in Ogden, though. No wind this morning (thank goodness) but have a quarter inch of rain already.

I drive 70 on I-15, even where the limit is 80. My car doesn't like speeds over 70, especially towing the boat. And I don't like it either - especially in wind.

You're sure right about the idjits, though.

Here in so. central ID we have a couple days in the 50's, Friday up to 85, then cooling back down in the 60's. Lots of wind. Rain? Forecast is for a .03" deluge today. We had a warm winter and the apricots bloomed early. They all froze. Peaches and cherries are in bloom now. It's too cold for the bees to be out but they get pollinated somehow.

Winter still hasn't left upstate NY either. Lots of cold, windy days and it has snowed twice in the past week. On her way home from work the other night my wife had to pull over due to whiteout conditions. It snowed 2-3" in about an hour.
