Hi guys.
This weekend, wife and i got into it...... with all the shutdowns and lockdowns and assorted nonsense, the only change in my lifestyle is that sporting clay courses and clay venues are closed to non members.... and restaurants are mostly closed. Was never much of a vacationer or mall shopper.
Her..... well, these days have been harder on her. Alot of her joys have been denied her.
I spent the weekend at a family property moving stands and running around the woods all alone. Came home to hear all about it..... tempers are short. It'll all blow over, but the incidents are increasing.
Anyhow, i can't be alone in this situation, can I? Mid 40s and 2 boys 13 and 9 for reference. How are all your relationships holding up?

Lots of suicides...i think people who were on the edge got pushed over and are unable to get help like they normally would.

Hell i am more depressed and stressed out due to covid bullshat and the retard living in the white house and where our country is going. Wife and I have been sniping at each other more too.

Retired, both of us. Been around each other a long time. I probably piss her off daily, I'm a grump and she knows it. I don't do "feelings" well, so those get hurt too. Oops.

She takes some stained glass, fused glass, pottery classes in town that gets her away. And she walks the dogs more than I do.

But The Corona hasn't made much of a change in our lives.

All good here.I live in rural area. At our age,we don't do much anyway.Me thinks the problem maybe there with or without the lock down.This time should maybe be used in getting closer together and developing more communications with each other

actually YES! everyone deals with this crap differently. I seek a sounding board. my wife holds it in. How can you not be stressed out when everyone around you has given up their freedoms without so much as a complaint. They continue to follow the government edicts about masks, when they have been vaxxed and or recovered. It seems like no one will question authority. We see people we know get vaxxed despite having recovered from covid. we live in the twilight zone. We have been separated from friends and people we know. vacations which many women really look forward to have had to be canceled in many cases. yeah I don't know how this isn't a huge stress on marriages. for me I try to get my wife talking, talking about her feelings gives her comfort, her being comforted will make you feel useful and make her feel better, look for things to bring you together. don't skip date nights.

I've committed suicide a couple times but otherwise pretty normal.

We dumpster dive and shop at yard sales , so no speed bumps in our relationship. People throwing away lots of good stuff now.

Other than mail ordering nothing has changed in my life, I deny the libtards of everything they desire.

We have been married for over fifty years and this bullshit has not been pretty for her but she has tolerated it fairly well. I have completely ignored it, have not changed my lifestyle one bit.

Hasn’t bothered Wifey and I. She works from home, I never quit going, stay out in barn if I’m home and she is working. She is easy to get along with. I got lucky when friend told me her friend wants to dance with me. I was thinking fat gurl, but she wasn’t.

My life never changed. I never missed a days work over it and was never given the opportunity to work from home and neither did my wife. Other than SOS everything here is open and mostly has been for months. I refuse to wear a mask and have only been told that I have to a few times so I left.

I can’t see giving the government the power over this BS to let it impact my life. Probably bothers the retards that I see walking around outdoors with mask on that have bought in to the BS a lot more.

Honestly not a lot changed for us. We usually ate out once a week and went to the movies about once every two or three months. My wife did get to work from home for several months in the beginning, but that was good. Other than going to the movies, pretty much everything is back to normal now.
