Have you never accidently walked out of a store without paying for something? I have, just last week - walked out of Lowe's with a pack of drill bits that I had stuck in my back pocket while I was shopping. And I was still able to remember how to get back to my truck.
And yes, I went back in and paid for them.

Yes I walk out of places with other people’s schit all the time.

It’s no big deal.

Alcoholism is a disease.

Just like dementia.

Like I said, it’s no big deal.

I just don't understand.

Have any of you people not worked with idiots that you wonder how they got hired or stay employed? Law enforcement is no different than daycare workers, teachers, doctors, lawyers.

Shockingly enough people are not perfect

Alcoholism is only a indication and manifestation of deeper weaknesses in character . Dementia is not as it is a true disease.

Alcoholism was labeled as a “disease” so that insurance would pay for it.

Sounds like your Step 13 is working well.
It’s easy to see how you’re able to rationalize it as no big deal.

The brain is our most complex organ. Dementia--even the same types of dementia--can present differently in different people. A dementia patient can certainly forget to pay for items at a store but still walk home in early stages. Hell, you can have dementia and be installed as president. If she's been formally diagnosed, she won't be culpable. Regardless, no excuse to handle a 73 year-old woman in this manner.

Naww.
Just to keep the good folks here mindful of your being a drunkard, hiding behind walls, wearing a diaper on your face and playing with sock puppets.

That is all.

If common sense was still a thing it should have been used by the WM security guys. Take care of this in store, no need to call in the bad ass cops.

Very sad deal. I would be very upset if that were my mom.

Ideally, the woman's family members should wait for the appropriate opportunity then work over Fat Boy's elbows with a Louisville Slugger. His female accomplice deserves the same. These are not bad cops; they are bad people. GD

That statistic sounds reasonable, understandable and a shame as well. I think there are hundreds of police officers doing a good job everyday while a few overshadow the good by their stupidity and power trips. What I don't understand is why, from my personal perception, otherwise good cops seem to defend the actions of those few while not really promoting the good of the hundreds. Not saying you personally but even on this forum all you have to do is read what is written. I get it - "you have to walk in their shoes to understand" - but that is just an old tired saying by now. I support you guys but "don't leave me hanging bro." 😁

Or you can formally complain on azzholes doing s hit that is illegal, far more violent and over the line than this situation....and nothing is done. But yet somehow you're now a snitch in your coworkers eyes, and still a pos to the public.

Its a lose/lose.

Good times!

Yes.

You would make a good cop. The inflexibility of your mindset and relentlessly staunch defense of cops, irrespective of their mistakes, would find you right at home in the LE profession.

You would make a good guest on The View.

Every day.

lololololol. That right there was truly funny. I laughed so hard I scared my dog.
